International Women's Day is a global day marked annually on March 8th to celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity. Significant activity is witnessed worldwide as groups come together to celebrate women's achievements or rally for women's equality. The campaign theme for International Women's Day 2021 is 'Choose To Challenge'. A challenged world is an alert world. And from challenge comes change. So let's all #ChooseToChallenge. For International Women's Day celebration at Pensees this year, we have the following activities tied up: 1. Pensees virtual celebration for all on 8 March 2021
We started off with some of our female colleagues sharing valuable insights on how they feel about working in the technology industry. Following which, we organized a virtual patent award ceremony and newcomers’ welcome ceremony. Lastly, we also took this opportunity to celebrate the birthdays of our March babies.
In honor of International Women’s Day, all of us at Pensees made a pledge to forge gender equality at our workplace. We are committed to creating an inclusive organization where everyone is supported and respected.

Pensees is part of the 'Women in Tech' initiative driven by Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), and we have also come up with 3 action pledges to support the 'Women in Tech' movement. This includes the formation of our Pensees’ ‘Women in Tech’ Committee to plan all year round activities, organizing internal women-related health and well-being talks to strengthen the awareness of female vulnerable diseases, as well as raising the profile of ‘Women in Tech’ at Pensees through bringing the best female talent into our workforce to further drive the research and development of AI.
